TRACK LOCATION:

Masterton Motorplex is located at 21 Manaia Road, Masterton.

The track is approximately (based on map data);

  • 10 minutes  from Masterton town centre
  • 1 hour 40 minutes from Wellington
  • 1 hour 30 minutes from Palmerston North
  • 2 hours 51 minutes from Napier
  • 4 hours 30 minutes from New Plymouth
  • 6 hours 20 minutes from Tauranga
  • 7 hours from Nelson (including ferry crossing)
  • 7 hours 30 minutes from Auckland
  • 11 hours 30 minutes from Christchurch (including ferry crossing)
  • 18 hours 30 minutes from Invercargill (including ferry crossing)

BASIC DIRECTIONS:

Turn right directly opposite the Caltex (Solway Service Station) on SH2 at the southern end of Masterton, and follow the signs. When you are on Mania Road, the track entrance is on the right, about 1.1km from the South Road / South Belt / Mania Road intersection (about 600m past the entrance to the airport terminal)


As you enter Masterton, turn right at the round about and follow State Highway 2 heading towards Wellington/Carterton. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Cockburn St, then turn right onto South Rd. Turn left onto Manaia Rd and follow the signs. When you are on Mania Road, the track entrance is on the right, about 1.1km from the South Road / South Belt / Mania Road intersection (about 600m past the entrance to the airport terminal)
